Paul O'Reilly handled our sale and purchase of our previous 1 Series and was very helpful and informative regarding explaining the cars functionality, so I asked for Paul when arranging to test drive the new car.

A good experience but felt that there is a lot of overlap in the Package contents. Discounts aren't necessarily a true saving for the buyer. It's a trick IMHO. Overall I was pleased with the experience and Jake did an awesome job.

Paul was very helpful from the start to the end. Also, he helped me on another Finance related issue with BMW Finance Services, which was not related to Paul, but he helped me on this to resolve it much faster.

Communication was not great. It was very difficult obtaining updates during the delivery process as phone calls and emails were not returned; I needed to continually chase to get a response. Communication was fine before I paid my deposit.

Service requirements were not carried out as requested or stated on the service schedule, sloppy and rather worrying. Complimentary car wash was poor quality, appreciate its complimentary, but if you offer it, do it properly or don't bother!

Gave me a time which was convenient for me as it was a intermittent fault.Arrived car was taken into the workshop straight away diagnosed had to order part went and did shopping came back from shopping late afternoon part was fitted straight away.

Group 1 provided a prompt, efficient and professional service. The only problem I experienced was that the recall work would have been delayed by a month if I had waited for a courtesy car. It was inconvenient to not have access to a car for 2 days.

One irritation was the rear screen wiper was falling off and clearly needed replacing - I would have thought that a low value item like this could have been replaced and added to the bill, instead of which I have had to source one and fit myself.

This time my booking with Group 1 Chelmsford was for an MOT annual inspection. I was able to book online and arrange a date and time that I was able to wait while the MOT was carried out. Video Vehicle Health Check was informative and very useful.
